You’re Buzzing About… Black & White

We don’t have to look any further than our super stylish members to find the latest and greatest trends. You’ve got your fingers on the pulse – and on the shutter. Judging by your snaps, right now you’re buzzing about black & white!

An enduring combo and principal wardrobe staple for many, black & white can be interpreted in infinite ways through varying silhouettes, patterns, scales, textures, and layering. You only have to look at the following members to know exactly what we mean.

Mercedes paired a black tote and black and white hat with the Dorothy Perkins Black & White Striped Shift Dress for a clean and casual look. Member Liz offered more styling suggestions on her review of this dress: “I thought this item to be very versatile – wore it to work (on its own with flats for a regular office day, added a blazer and heels for an event day), to dinner, and with slip on sneakers for a day in the city wandering around museums.”

The Cherry Velvet Chrissy Dress in Flamingo Print takes black and white and spices things up with a sprinkle of whimsy. Member Linda P. noted: “Happy. This dress makes me happy. From the cool, swishy feel of the fabric around my legs, to the adorable print, to the flattering shape, it’s just a happy sort of dress.” It looks like CeCe (pictured above) agrees! She accented the fun print with a pop of color in her handbag.
