Amanda Uprichard’s exclusive capsule collection arrives at Gwynnie Bee this week. A playful mix of color and print, these specially designed styles deliver spring-ready impact with versatile appeal. We asked three of our favorite fashionistas, Alison of Wardrobe Oxygen, Valerie of Fashion On A Curve, and Amanda of Fashion, Love, and Martinis to style pieces from Amanda’s line for GB and give their tips on how to nail the look.
Alison of Wardrobe Oxygen:
“I love the wrap/tulip skirt, it really creates an hourglass shape. The high-low hem will work well on women of a variety of heights; on my 5’3″ self the back went to my ankles but the style would look great at a midi length or even closer to the floor. I styled this dress with a pair of ankle strap heels and a distressed denim jacket; I love mixing dressy with casual and this shows the versatility of this dress.”
Valerie of Fashion On A Curve:
“For my first look, I had to stay true to the laid-back feel of the Game Day dress. I’m all about the glitz and glam, but I’m glad I opted for my nike sneakers and a sporty striped jacket. This look is comfortable and chic. If you’re feeling fancy like me, you can throw on some stunner-shades to take it up a notch.”
“As the weather gets warmer, bright colors are becoming a staple in my wardrobe. I brightened up the Game Day dress with some orange pumps and a cute yellow lace bomber jacket. With this look, I’m ready for the spring and summer season.”
“As much as I love color, I never pass up the opportunity to wear a black and white outfit. As soon as I saw the Game Day dress, I knew I wanted to keep the monochromatic color scheme. I went for the unconventional pants under dress combo and opted for a classic white trench. Red lips never hurt either!”
Amanda of Fashion, Love, and Martinis:
“This dress is so fun and perfect for springtime. It’s true to size with a classic fit and flare shape. I accentuated the splashes of pink in the dress by pairing it with bright fuchsia flats.”
“I was surprised by the fit of the Forever Top. Normally I have to size up in non-stretch blouses, but this top has a relaxed, generous fit. The pattern is great, too. I love the colorful spin on traditional Tartan. I half-tucked the top into boyfriend jeans and ruched up the sleeves for an effortless look.”
Thanks for sharing, ladies! Be sure to check out the Amanda Uprichard collection in extended sizing, only for Gwynnie Bee.
