Last week on the Gwynnie Bee blog, you saw Alison Gary of Wardrobe Oxygen play model with fellow blogger Lexa of Lemmonex. Today we launch Alison’s curated collection with her top Gwynnie Bee picks. Here is a selection of her favorites along with her styling advice for each item:
Coldwater Creek Fluid Wrap Dress: “This dress dresses up and down with ease; wear to a wedding with silver strappy heels, or for day pair with pumps and pearls or even tall brown boots and a scarf looped at your throat. Add a brown belt at the waist to pull the look together. ”
Lands End Pleat Shoulder Drapey V-Neck Dress: “This dress is so versatile. I wore it with no accessories except black tights and leopard haircalf Mary Janes to let the emerald color shine through; for spring it would be great to use as a base for colorblocking with a contrast color skinny belt and pumps – green looks amazing with hot pink, yellow, and shades of blue like cobalt and aqua!”
Coldwater Creek Lace Scroll Dress: “This dress surprised me with it’s modern elegance. With the blue under layer, keep the details to a minimum; for a spring wedding pair with black pumps and pearls; make it a Date Night look with a black blazer and booties.”
SimplyBe Printed Sheath Dress: “I positively adore this dress, and how the fabric works year-round. In winter, wear with black tights, booties, and a bold gold necklace. Come spring soften the look with nude pumps and a shorter statement necklace.”
Eloquii Chevron T-Shirt Dress: “I’d wear this one while the weather is still cool with a wide black leather belt, tights, and black booties. Though the print is green and navy, black can work when made into a purposeful accent. Come warmer temps, this dress would look great as-is with some single-sole pointy kitten heel pumps in a skin tone or black leather and a statement necklace with some sparkle.”
