Guest Post: Fashion, Love & Martinis

Today we’re excited to launch the  Curated Collection of Amanda,  blogger behind Fashion, Love & Martinis. Amanda is 5’4, a size 24, and lives in Fresno, CA. She shares her favorite Gwynnie Bee items and insights below:

Spense Belted Floral Dress

This dress is the epitome of spring and femininity. It’s just so girly and fun. The colors are vibrant, the A-line shape is great for all body types, and the happiness it brought me when I wore it was unforgettable. This is a must-have for your Gwynnie Bee closet!

Asos Curve Peplum Jacket in Animal Print

The ASOS animal print peplum jacket is my all-time favorite jacket. Everything about it was a perfect fit. From the length to the volume of the peplum and chic print, this jacket took me to work with trousers, out to dinner over a little black dress, or running errands in a pair of dark denim jeans. I was also able to button it comfortably over my stomach, which is a major plus. I loved this animal print peplum jacket so much I bought it for myself!

 Carmakoma Cadet Blouse

Carmakona Cadet Top is one of my favorite tops from Gwynnie Bee This top just radiates classic and romantic style. The lace detail mixed with the peter pan collar and keyhole in the back are so much fun. I loved wearing it with colored jeggings, which made the top really stand out.

Lands’ End Pleat Shoulder Drapey V-Neck Dress

I love this dress! Everything about it from the color and shape to the feel of the fabric was perfect for my apple-shape body . It’s great for a sunny spring day with or without tights, a statement necklace or belt, bright handbag, and comfortable wedges or flats.

Karen Kane Contrast Handkerchief Top

The most perfect tunic on earth! That’s exactly how I would describe this Karen Kane top. The handkerchief hem and white stripe are so elongating while the color-blocking fits in so well to the black and white color trend for spring and summer.

Check out the second post from Amanda where there’s a video introduction and her notes for the rest of the pieces in her curated collection. To see Amanda’s full curated collection for Gwynnie Bee, check it out here.

You made some great choices, Amanda! I’ve been eyeing that cadet top, too. I might just have to add it to my closet after all.
