With New York Fashion Week behind us we’ve not quite recovered from our excitement. The biggest news to come out of this season was not a trend, but an introduction to “See-Now, Buy-Now” collections. Historically, brands have shown their collections months before they were available to buy.  This year, some designers allowed customers to shop the runway immediately after the show.

In the spirit of this exciting moment in fashion, we’re highlighting three trends we saw on the runway (for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017) that you can closet right now. While Fashion Week shows may have a sense of fantasy and drama to them, these trends are both wearable and fresh. Check out which three we’re loving now and try them yourself.

1. Cutouts:
The cutout detail remains strong this season. We talked about cutouts for summer, but as the weather changes, the trend transforms with it. Think peekaboo clavicles, keyhole necklines, and shoulder slits. The subtle glimpse of skin exudes a modern and sexy allure.

2. Flare on Flare:
Boho continues to dominate on and off the runway. It featured heavily in our rustic Gwynnie Bee Fall 2016 Lookbook. Following that vibe, one trend we saw on the runway was flare on flare. Think bell sleeves and a wide leg pant. Or, opt for a loosely silhouetted coat with a flippy skirt. Pairing these silhouettes together is a daring take on the season’s key look.

3. Microflorals:
Small in scale, big in impact.  These tiny, dark florals are a trend you can get on board with right now. A muted color palette feels in season while the dainty blooms bring a refreshed feel.
