New York Fashion Week has just wrapped up, and while the clothes on the runways won’t be out until Fall 2016, you can start rocking the trends now! We spotted three trends to love that are as flattering as they are fashion-forward. Share your snaps when you rock these trends with #ShareMeGB, and your photo could be featured on Gwynnie Bee!
1. ’70s Cool
Yup, the ’70s are still going as a major trend in fashion. We loved the ease of ’70s Boho and the sex appeal of ’70s Glam, but what’s new for the upcoming season is a dose of quirky cool. Think paisley prints, midi-dresses, flared jeans and lots of suede. Here’s a few ways for you to get funky with the trend now.
2. Surface Impact
The styles on the runway were seriously touchable, from luxe velvets to shaggy faux fur to 3-D embellishments. You can wear a little or a lot depending on how tactile you want your outfit to be! And it’s perfect for transitioning from Winter into Spring.
3. Love Notes
Valentine’s Day fell in the middle of NYFW, and maybe that’s what inspired all the bright pink, saturated red and deep maroons that stormed the catwalks. It’s a palette that works together or paired back to neutrals (especially black and navy), and it’s done in shapes that give an edge to the inherently sweeter colors.
