Spring at last! With the arrival of the first official day of spring we turn to Austin’s South by Southwest festival for some style inspiration to kick off the season. SXSW draws creative minds from the tech, film, and music industries — it’s no surprise that the style scene is an eclectic one. Though styles ranged from boho to vintage, our favorite looks all seemed to embody the same carefree sprit. And while some festival fashion can seem a little too out-there for the everyday, we found that these great styles easily translate to the real world.
A fresh take on lace — love it. This sweet, folksy getup is giving us serious Almost Famous flashbacks (here’s to lookin’ at you Penny Lane!). Pair a dark wash bootcut with an ivory lace top. A wide brimmed floppy hat is your key accessory and turquoise accents finish off the look.
Clearly hats are a must this spring. A floral printed dress is a cute nod to the 90s. Pair it with a cozy, slouchy sweater casually cuffed at the wrists and a pair of fun shades.
What’s cooler than a funky tribal-inspired print with neon accents? Trendy accessories like a blingy geo necklace and round sunnies take a printed dress to the next level.

We love an all-American girl. A vintage-y floral print and a pair of clean bright Chucks are fun throwbacks. Tie a chambray shirt at the waist and add a little shine with a gold watch.
