We’re approaching the special point in the season where fall days are on the horizon, but the summer sun is going strong. We’re itching for a taste of that autumnal style, so we’ve started looking at ways to transition our closet with the new season. We’ve chosen two GB summer favorites to show off how to bring them with you as you flip the calendar. Read on to get a sneak peak of inspiration what’s to come. Wear these styles now AND later!
Happy Women’s Equality Day! We’re seeing it as a time to appreciate how far we’ve come, while acknowledging the road ahead. We’ve got a collection podcasts, books, websites, and more, for women, by women, to get you in the mood to both celebrate and keep fighting the good fight.
None of us are immune to shopping woes – whether it’s a habit we can’t quit, a deep-rooted phobia of dressing rooms, or it’s tastes that go beyond our budget. We bring you confessionals from the depths of your dressing room nightmares, but don’t worry, no matter who you identify with, we’ve got a solution for you. Spoiler: it’s Gwynnie Bee.
Friday has arrived once again – which means, more GB Profiles! Labor day might be around the corner, but we’ve got another holiday on our mind: tomorrow is Women’s Equality Day! I feel incredibly lucky to work in an environment that promotes women’s empowerment as part of our mission both through Gwynnie Bee, the company, and internally in our offices. I was chatting with Emma, the head of our HR team about how I feel that vibe in our offices and she tells me, “We have intentionally built a diverse leadership team and we have created an environment that fosters plurality of thought.” Even though I write daily for my job, I could not have said it better myself.
At Gwynnie Bee, we’re all about empowering women to look and feel like the best versions of themselves. We encourage women to wear what makes them feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Still, there are some consistent fashion faux pas that many women don’t even realize they’re making! Take some time to assess your wardrobe and consider if any of these common fit faux pas apply to you. If so, the good news is that they’re all simple fixes that can help take your fashion game to the next level.
Every month, we ask one of our Gwynnie Bee members to take a style outside of their wheelhouse for a 24-hour test drive. This month we asked Emily of Something Gold, Something Blue to try something new in her favorite Houston neighborhood. Stepping outside her style profile, see how this fashionista took the Melissa McCarthy Seven7 Tibet Stamp Kimono Maxi Dress for a chic day on the town!
In this series, we highlight one covet-worthy GB ensemble and the stylish lady behind it. It’s our very own version of #WomanCrushWednesday, but for fashion! Check out our latest love below and tag your own crush-worthy look with #ShareMeGB for a chance to be featured.
With New Arrivals landing constantly at Gwynnie Bee, we don’t want you to miss a thing. Read on to find out our picks that just hit the site this past week – and how to wear them. This week’s spotlight is on dresses, your one-step solution to all-occasion polish.
As women, we’re told to lean in. The basic premise here is that men get all the freedom in the world to “have it all,” whereas women have to fight and claw to have, like, half of it. In the effort to “have it all”, sometimes it means we find ourselves exiting the workforce, crossing our fingers it’s only temporary.
Friday is here again (finally!), which means another opportunity to show off the Gwynnie Bee team and their great end of the week looks. While we at the GB blog are constantly looking for trends in what people are wearing, sometimes we don’t have to look farther than our office. The GB crew often experience moments of style synchronicity: several people in polka dots, or similar color palettes, and the occasional same outfit! This Friday, my coworkers were proving that summer is as good a time as any to wear monochromatic black & white. Read on to see who I caught working hard and looking good this casual Friday.
