Tell us a little about yourself!

I am 34, happily married and have two crazy beagles, Seamus and Josey Wales. I serve as the Borough Manager for the Borough of Lehighton in Carbon County, PA and have been working in local government for almost 15 years. Spending time with my wonderful family and fabulous friends is everything to me.  Recently I lost 60 pounds and have never felt better. I enjoy traveling, running, walking my dogs, gardening and being outside. I am a total “foodie”. Also, I love to shop but Gwynnie Bee has curbed my shopping habits and keeps me styling day to day, all I need to buy is the accessories.

Tell us about your Gwynnie Bee photo shoot! What was your experience like?

The photo shoot was so much fun from start to finish. Gwynnie Bee Member Photo Shoot Coordinator, Courtney, had made the experience flawless.  I picked out and received my clothing and GB handled the rest. The photographer was a lot of fun and very talented. My makeup artist (and best friend) did an outstanding job and was a big help backstage. We shot at the historical Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe, PA. The opera house was perfect for the shoot and much warmer than the snowy conditions outside!  It truly was an amazing experience and made me feel beautiful.

How would you describe your sense of style?

Colorful, fun and professional during the weekdays and relaxed on the weekends.  I love all the choices Gwynnie Bee has to offer. In my 2+ years as a member, I have never been bored and neither has my wardrobe.  GB has helped me so much to dress to role of a Borough Manager. Prior to GB, I was so confused with style and could not afford to dress professionally five days a week. Now, the possibilities are endless and I never have to wear the same thing twice, unless of course I want to!

Which GB brand is your favorite?

When looking at my GB closet, Triste is my number one pick. The dresses just work for me. Three of the dresses from my shoot were from Triste.  I also love London Times, Taylor Dresses and IGIGI. Now that I have lost weight, I am adapting to the new brands and loving them. Triste has consistently been with me from start to finish.

Which styles are you most looking forward to for spring?

I am very excited for new patterns and colors. We have been battling lots of snow and freezing cold weather. I cannot wait to welcome the spring in new dresses, flowy skirts, fun shirts and lots of bright refreshing color! I am ready to put the boots away and bring out the peep-toes!

Any words of wisdom for the GB community?

Gwynnie Bee has helped to define my style. Try new brands, try new colors, you may be surprised with how awesome you look and more importantly how awesome GB makes you feel. Make sure to appreciate their customer service, I do not know of any other companies who welcome and love their customers as much as GB does. I cannot rant and rave enough about how wonderful the company is from day one! They have never disappointed.  Most importantly, love yourself and let GB do the rest. Feel confident, feel happy and feel beautiful because you are!!!
