Members’ Styling Tricks: Taking Dresses from Work to Weekend

We always love seeing how our members style their Gwynnie Bee items, and what’s better than maxing out a beloved style for multiple occasions? We’ve spotted some pretty cool ways to take dresses from work to the weekend on our #ShareMeGB feed, and we wanted to share them with you. Check out (and closet!) the latest work-appropriate styles that members are loving in the You’re Buzzing About Winter Workwear collection!

1. Layer Leggings Underneath

Sweater Dress

A sweater dress is cozy and chic —paired with opaque tights and booties, this Sandra Darren Colorblock Sweater Dress with Cowl Neck is a perfect look for the office. But adding on black leggings and easy ballet flats like @rebeccajoknits makes this look perfect for brunch, errands or a movie date night!

2. Add a Jean Jacket and Cute Sneakers

Lovely in LA

Rachel of Lovely in LA takes her Karen Kane Scuba Dress in Indigo Ink and makes it perfect for a Sunday Funday with slip-on sneakers, a relaxed purse and a great medium wash denim jacket. The fit and flare shape works so well with a hip-length jacket!

3. Pick a Cozy Knit

This Triste Petal Print Shift Dress is a terrific work piece with its easy shift shape and can’t-miss-me print, but adding on a cozy sweater vest like @Kristenplusmodel makes it feel just right for weekend wear, as well.
