One Style, Three Ways: The Chambray Wrap Dress

We love the creative versatility of so many of our members, bloggers, and style icons, working one piece into many outfits. We’re recently inspired by Alison, of Wardrobe Oxygen, June’s Featured Influencer, who styled a long wrap dress to fit three different occasions. Read on to see how Alison transformed this B Curvy by Bobeau Kate Chambray Wrap Dress in Dark Blue for everday!

1. Brunch with the Family:
“This dress is the color of chambray so I decided to style it in a way that highlighted that concept. For brunch with the family, I gave this dress a boho vibe with a classic saddle bag and vintage belt in brown leather. A wrist of beaded and rope bracelets collected over the years completes the look and lets the dress take center stage.”

2. Business Casual:
“I work in a creative business casual office. To style the dress for work, I paired it with my favorite denim jacket to keep my shoulders covered and ward off the chill from too-strong office A/C. A pair of cork wedges give lift while offering comfort. For this look I kept the self-belt, which is long enough that you can choose to just knot it or tie it into a bow for a more feminine effect.”

3. Summer Nights
“The dress has a classic shape and flattering drape that dresses up like a dream. To style it for a daytime event like a wedding or bridal luncheon, I upped the glam factor with a gold metal belt and gold jewelry. A pair of nude block heel sandals and a raffia clutch keep it looking breezy for summer.”
