Has your style changed since joining Gwynnie Bee?
“I don’t think my style has changed, per se, but I do think my shopping style has become more refined thanks to Gwynnie Bee. My personal style is classic with a touch of trend. And while I love playing with fashion, as I get older my purchasing patterns are directly impacted by my lifestyle. My job as a stylist requires me to be polished 24/7 and the easiest way for me to do that is to stick with classic pieces, clean lines and simple silhouettes mostly in a neutral, or close to neutral color palette. The beauty of Gwynnie Bee, however, is that purchasing is removed from the equation entirely (unless, of course, you are an avid Try then Buy kind of girl like I am sometimes!). The wardrobe rental model has taught me to be more selective in the items I invest in, and allow for more creativity and with my wardrobe for those items I am just renting and returning! Who doesn’t love that?!”

What new things have you tried that you wouldn’t have normally since being introduced to Gwynnie Bee?
“While I still lean towards a classic, sophisticated personal style I think GB has really forced me, in a good way, to incorporate more color (way more color) and print into my day to day, in ways I don’t think I would have done without the ease of a rental service. Pops of color, playful prints, OVERALLS! Honestly, being able to try anything and return it if I don’t like it or it doesn’t work for me, changes the way I closet my pieces entirely! I am loyal to my evolved personal style, and usually end up closeting classic items but without fail, every shipment, I make sure to closet and try something new and fun.”

Which styles do you find work best for your body type?
I am a size 20 (top and bottom) and carry most of my weight in my midsection. I tend to stick with fit and flare or slightly oversized tunic style dresses, as I prefer not to wear fitted, body con silhouettes. For me, it’s more about ease and simplicity in dressing, so as long as something fits well, is comfortable and works for my busy lifestyle- I love it! Brands I’m loving lately include Rachel Rachel Roy, City Chic, Tart & Taylor Dresses, they’ve been on rotation in my summer closet!
